About Dr. Walshe

Christopher J. Walshe, MD, FACOG, FACS

Christopher J. Walshe, MD, FACOG, FACS“Growing up with two sisters and being close with them and my mom gave me a certain comfort with, empathy for and understanding of women’s health issues. I chose urogynecology because it addresses the most complex, misdiagnosed and misunderstood female conditions – urinary incontinence and pelvic support problems. My fellowship and international experience in underdeveloped countries deepened my understanding and empathy for these concerns. These conditions have a profound influence on a woman’s ability to enjoy all that life offers.

“Once I determine the extent of your problem, I treat it as simply, safely, directly and least invasively as I can – often using procedures I developed, perfected and published over the past decade. My unique transvaginal surgical techniques promote faster healing and leave no holes or scars on your skin. In many instances, it is considerably easier on patients and produces better outcomes. But what I enjoy most about this field is the patients themselves – like the woman who called me three years after I treated her and thanked me for putting her life back the way she wanted it to be.”
